Our Unitarian and Universalist roots go back to the beginning of this country, and we’ve always been considered liberals, activists, progressives. It’s easier to point to our deeds than explain our beliefs. But we came together in 1961, and as Unitarian Universalists we covenant to affirm and support 7 Principles. These are not dogma or doctrine, but rather a guide for those of us who choose to join and participate in Unitarian Universalist religious communities.
This community, the Universalist Unitarian Church of Riverside, has been here since 1881, has endured good times and bad, and now a pandemic. It is time for us to embrace this church we love.
