The role of motherhood has long been venerated and deemed one of the most important that a woman can take upon herself in her lifetime. This sermon seeks to not only celebrate those who have taken upon the sacred role of mother in life, but to also explore what it means to be “motherly” and how every person can take upon this rewarding responsibility, at least part of the time, even if not female or a biological mother themselves.
