The ongoing conflict in the Middle East is once again destroying and ending lives of the people who live there, and so American citizens and politicians are once again turning their focus to this conflict. Much effort has been dedicated to determining who are the “bad” guys and who are the “good” guys, and what exactly America’s role should be in these matters.

We know that things are rarely so black and white, but the complex history of the Middle East makes the true story hard to piece together. We believe that we all are part of a single, world community, so it is important to understand how we, personally and as Americans, are interconnected in the social web. We all are struggling towards happiness and truth on our Way, so we must work for the freedom of all peoples.
