Born and raised in Milwaukee,WI, Sundus Jaber has developed a passion for interdisciplinary approaches to inter-religious dialogue, peacemaking, pastoral care and counseling. She is an MDiv. candidate at Bayan – Claremont School of Theology in Islamic chaplaincy. She also serves as the Muslim Life Fellow at the Claremont University Consortium in Claremont,CA. Before pursuing this field, she graduated from Marquette University, WI with a Bachelors of Science in speech pathology and audiology with a minor in psychology, where she was a Mellon research fellow at the Arab and Muslim Women’s Research and Resource Institute and a researcher for the Department of Theology at Marquette University. She was also a staff member at Milwaukee Muslim Women’s Coalition.
